Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Short version: we collect only what we need to take your order, ship your book and answer your questions. We do not sell your information for money. Please do not send us medical information.
1. Who we are
GLP1Empower.com ("GLP-1 Empower," "we," "us," or "our") is a business based in Dorchester County, South Carolina. We operate the website glp1empower.com (the "Site") and sell a printed educational book. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order or contact us, we may collect your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give one), order details, and anything you write in your message.
Payment information. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card number on our own servers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the website you came from, and the date and time of your visit. This is typically collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
Health information. We do not ask for, and do not want, your medical information. Please do not include diagnoses, prescriptions, test results or other health details in orders or emails. We are not a healthcare provider, and we are not a "covered entity" under HIPAA.
3. How we use your information
- To process and ship your order, and to handle refunds and customer service.
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To send you marketing emails about our products, if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the Site is used and to improve it, and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the Site secure, and comply with the law.
4. How we share your information
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as payment processors, shipping carriers and printers, website hosting, email delivery, and customer support tools. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
- Advertising and analytics providers. We may use analytics tools and advertising pixels (for example, those offered by social media and search platforms) to measure site traffic and the performance of our ads.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as responding to lawful requests, enforcing our terms, or protecting our rights, customers or others.
- Business transfers, if we merge with, are acquired by, or sell assets to another company. We would require the new owner to honor this policy.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include certain advertising and analytics cookies. You can opt out as described in Section 8.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our providers use them to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, understand traffic, and measure ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can often block or delete them. If you block some cookies, parts of the Site may not work as intended. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required by law.
6. Email and marketing
If you give us your email address and agree to receive marketing, we may email you about our book and related educational content. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] and we will remove you. We will still send order-related messages even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill your order, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under laws in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states), you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and request a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request that we delete your information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, and of targeted advertising; and
- not be treated unfairly for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also use an authorized agent. If we deny a request, you may be able to appeal by replying to our response.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site and our book are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
